Toronto Caribbean Carnival
The Toronto Caribbean Carnival is the largest festival of its kind in North America. The carnival embraces and nourishes Caribbean heritage and the arts through a wide range of events, competitions and parades. Every year, the festival attracts millions of people from all over the world, ranging from participants, spectators, sponsors and partners who all contribute to the celebration and growth of Caribbean culture.
Brand, Design, Web, Apparel & Strategy
The Carnival team were looking to elevate the look of the festival. They wanted to ensure that their position as a leader in their space and community is supported with thought out and intentional brand design. While Seventy Two Agency worked with the Carnival in various projects throughout the years, we were brought in for the 2023 and 2024 seasons within an in-house format to help establish brand identity systems, apparel development, website development, design solutions, social media design/management and overall creative strategy. The system we created strategically and through design, allowed for all touch points of the brand to support consistency, efficiency and flexibility where needed.
Slogan Creation
Toronto Caribbean Carnival is an internationally known festival. Every year, its reach expands into multiple segments throughout the world. We also worked directly with the Executive and PR team to help establish a slogan that would not only resonate with people globally, but would speak to the essence and mission of the carnival: Diversity & Culture Live Here.
Sponsorship
Seventy Two Agency worked with the executive team of Toronto Caribbean Carnival in a Business Development role to help negotiate and establish sponsorship and partnership support. We were also tasked to produce the sponsorship decks from a brand, design and strategy point of view.
